ABOUT

The Federal Housing Administration, generally known as "FHA", provides mortgage insurance on loans made by FHA-approved lenders throughout the United States and its territories.

FHA insures mortgages on residential homes, multifamily properties/apartment buildings, residential care facilities, and even hospitals.

FHA mortgage insurance provides lenders with protection against losses if a property owner defaults on their mortgage.

The lenders bear less risk because FHA will pay a claim to the lender for the unpaid principal balance of a defaulted mortgage.

This allows lenders to extend credit to those who otherwise not qualify for a home loan.

FHA Streamline Programs is committed to connecting homeowners with money saving programs in an effort to build long term economic stability throughout the housing market.

Our mission is to become a significant force for revitalizing and building strong communities, especially in times of economic hardship, because home ownership is important for all people.
